I’ve never been good with plants, I guess you could say I have a black thumb. However, recently, I’ve decided to turn that around. My friend gifted me a tomato plant and I’ve been trying my best to take very good care of it and I’ve gotta say, I’ve been doing a darn good job. There is an actual chance that I’ll be eating some home-grown tomatoes sometime in the near future. Yipee! Since I was feeling lucky, I also decided to delve into the world of succulents and I am in love. What about you guys, any plant people with tips for this inexperienced gal?
My favorite house plant is an air fern. Indestructible!
@danamcdowell, ooh, air ferns, duly noted. thanks for the heads up! xo
My friend with a black thumb killed the succulent I got for him. So I guess they’re not as indestructible as I thought…
@rooth, I have heard of other people who killed succulents too! I guess you have to give them plenty of light and not overwater them, but you can’t completely ignore them either. It’s tricky. :)
I did a lot of scrolling to get to this, BUT ever since this post I’ve been thinking about succulents!? How are yours doing??
@danamcdowell, as pictured in the first and third images, the one on the left is doing great but for some reason the one on the right is struggling. I’m trying to figure out if it’s gotten too much water or too much light.
